This is my direct client opening for *Web Developer– San Diego, CA*. This is a *3 months month contract to hire* position. *The Hourly rate is $43 to $53. The salary range is $90K + 10% Incentives. Client is looking for local candidates due to F2F Interview after the initial phone Interview. Client will also accept the candidates who can attend the F2F Interview on their own expenses. * Helps develop and maintain APD web properties in support of the Web Marketing team. Works on web functionality (i.e., non-static pages) utilizing the ATG platform and can work independently on assignments of moderate to advanced complexity. Will report to and interface with Web Development Manager primarily on day-to-day work, but also will interface with APD Program Managers and Marketing Managers often. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, an excellent team player, passionate about the customer, and have an innovative approach to problem solving. Daily tasks include: • Design and develop web site functionality utilizing object oriented principles and design patterns • Work on multiple projects at once in support of APD marketing initiatives on the web • Takes the lead on various updates and maintenance requests • Works with Web Development Manager on larger scale projects • Team/Leadership Skills • Effectively collaborates with user researchers, other developers, marketing managers, and others involved in the design project and the marketing process • Takes feedback in a professional manner and provides constructive feedback QUALIFICATIONS: • B.S./B.A. degree in an appropriate technology or business-related field • At least 4 years of web development experience • 2+ years creating, maintaining, and enhancing a large scale commercial website • 2+ years experience in Object Oriented software development • Expert, hands-on knowledge of HTML, JSP, CSS, XML, JavaScript and other relevant web development languages • Experience in ATG platform and development • Experience with Eclipse development tool • Working knowledge of CVS • Working knowledge of Relational Database Concepts • Experience with Flash is a plus • Experience in a variety of web-based programming languages including .NET also a plus • Understanding of user research, metrics and basic software/web processes • Excellent Communication Skills * Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.* * Full Name: Degree Major: Total Web Design exp: Total Commercial Website exp: Total HTML, CSS and Javascript exp: Total Object oriented software Development exp: Total JSP exp: Total XML exp: Total Eclipse exp: Total CVS exp: Total RDBMS exp: Total Adobe Creative Suite exp: Total common code-editing software exp: Total Graphics experience in Web: Total UI Design exp: Total Flash exp: Total .net exp: Total Teamsite and ATG exp: Hourly Rate: Whether is it C2C/1099/W2?
