Business Object Developer with Cisco Exp Needed
Location: San Jose, CA
Duartion:6-12 months
Cisco experience, in particular someone who is proficient with Business
Objects (MARS Universe and/or CARMA).
* someone who is a proactive self-starter and who does not need to be
micro-managed.
* Do not need someone super technical as this role involves working
with Channel Programs, performance rebate processing, and relationship
building with business partners.
* He/she will work closely with other members in the team and is
welcomed to ask questions and help each other.
Here is a description of the position:
SERVICES
Consultant shall provide the following Services to Cisco:
Responsible for development and execution of the Global Service Alliance,
Regional Service Alliance, and Technical Support Operate rebate process for
Services Channel Partners who participate in the Co-Brand Service Program.
All the tasks, processes, and execution steps necessary to arrive at and
process rebates will be part of this role.
WORK PRODUCT
(a) Work Product. Consultant shall deliver the following
tangible Work Product. [provide a detailed description of Work Product]:
* Develop overall process flow for Channel Partner Rebate process.
This includes documenting all the tasks, steps, activities required in the
process
* Collaborate with CA Channel Alliance Managers to develop review and
approval process. This includes internal and external reviews and approvals
(Internal Cisco & External Partner).
* Develop process & steps to extract key data elements from internal
Cisco databases so as to gather pertinent data related to CA Channel Partner
rebate categories. This includes frequency of data gathering as part of the
process.
* Development of process and execution steps around the "Rebate
Accounting". This including defining the reserve creation and release
process and the steps required to execution including frequency.
* Development of SOX compliance controls around the rebate process to
ensure overall SOX 404 compliance.
* Development of rebate reporting so as to provide overall summary and
details around CA Channel Partner performance. This includes format,
content, and frequency.
* Development of data validation process to ensure accuracy of rebate
data
* Development and execution of backend process, steps to create and
deliver rebates to CA Channel Partners. This includes frequency.
(b) Specifications for Work Product. The Work Product shall meet the
following technical, functional and other Specifications
