Position- Jr PM Location: Oakland, CA Duration: 3 Months Rate: $ 48/hr (max) Roles & Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, communicating to an executive committee, creating and reporting project status utilizing a dashboard, allocating and tracking resources across the multiple projects, defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties. Candidate must be capable of educating team members in project management disciplines such as delivering tasks on time, ability to read project plans, ability to communicate risks and identify avoidance or mitigation solutions. This candidate must be professional yet tenacious in leading a team of moderately disciplined individuals who are extremely over taxed. Skills/Experience: 6+ Years of project management experience. Expertise in MS Project and MS Excel (ability to create formulas and execute pivot tables) Experience with Resource planning aspects of MS Project Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization. Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
