* Hi,
Hope you are doing well… * This is my direct client opening for *Data Analyst – Calabasas, CA*. This is a *4 month contract position*. *The Hourly rate is DOE. Client is looking for local candidates due to F2F Interview after the initial phone Interview. Client will also accept the candidates who can attend the F2F Interview on their own expenses*. * Description: * Strong excel skills, ability to source multiple streams of data, provide regular reporting and assist in analysis The Active Use initiative at IFID is focused on enhancing the user experience within these products in order to drive user through the Internet Banking registration experience and into active use of our Bill Payment features within Internet Banking. One way to understand the problem where people fall out of the process is to pull log information from our Internet Banking administrative platform and chart out where users fall out of the experience over time. We typically call this the "funnel" as it is a large group of people that enter the 1st screen of registration and typically a much smaller group of people that come out of the bottom of the funnel who are interacting with the product a few weeks later. By understanding where people fall out of the funnel, we understand where to focus our efforts on improving the user experience. This data contractor would be working on this project to pull and analyze the log data. This involves the following steps… Learning what the user experience (screen flow) looks like and how that ties to the various logs that occur as a user clicks their way through the product Learning the many customer configurations that our product has and figuring out which logs need to be pulled for a given customer to chart the user experience for that customer (bank or credit union) Entering the Administrative platform and pulling the logs (flat file format) Gathering the ~20 logs together in Excel, Access, or other data analysis software to define where people fall out of the process Support a "Site Review" team that is experimenting with screen changes. This involves pulling before and after funnels to understand the impact of the Site Review changes. Thus far we have been primarily dumping the flat files into Excell and using the Vlookup function in Excel. However, I suspect a data contractor can design a better way to do this. It is important for the contractor to provide insight into theories and hypothesis on what user experiences (screens) are driving users out of the experience. So, it is critical that this contractor have the data analysis skills to pump through the data, but also have the brainstorming and communication skills to help explain what is going on behind the data. As a bonus, it would be great if this contractor could create Power Point slides summarizing the data at a very high level for use with executive facing presentations. * Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.* * Full Name: Degree Major: Total exp as data Analyst: Total EXCEL exp: Hourly Rate: Whether is it C2C/1099/W2?
