- 3-4 years SAP Material Master experience. - 3-4 years SAP Customer Master experience. - 3-4 years advanced MS Excel. - 3-4 years advanced MS Access. - 3-4 years good data manipulations skills. - 3-4 years good organizational and verbal and written communication skills are also required. - Have the ability to assimilate complicated data tables and perform analysis to present findings. - Be a self-starter, proactive and have the ability to work with minimal supervision once direction is provided. • May be required to work overtime (upon request only) Applicant must meet MOST of these requirements. Description: *Candidates must be currently living & working in the Chicago area, this must be stated on the resume or they be declined.* * SAP Data Cleansing Analyst* Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Understanding data requirements documented in the functional designs and field mapping documents as the foundation for cleansing. - Working with appropriate staff to profile data to discover inconsistencies and other anomalies and cleanse the data. - Assisting in the examination of data prior to and after cleansing activities to ensure data integrity and quality. - Assisting in the creation of a repeatable, documented processes and tools for systematically manipulating the data. - Validating that the data to be loaded into the system is correct, ensuring duplicates and erroneous data is not included. - Coordinating with internal and external team members to meet/beat deadlines. - Performing analysis and research required to support and inform both cross-functional and enterprise projects. • Assisting in the monitoring quality of data received from the lines of business and work with business representatives to resolve issues with input data. • Assisting in the transformation of data as it is processed and work with appropriate technology teams to resolve issues with mapping, business rules and data derivations.
