Location: Research Triangle Park, NC Rate Cap: $50/hr Job description: Provide daily support and maintenance for existing products and environments as required. Document and understand the outstanding and ongoing user submitted issues and create action plans and implement them. Provide regular updates on outstanding issues. Work with each SAS user to understand and analyze end-user requirements for SAS analytics. Create usage profiles and models to help drive new SAS architecture. Identify document gaps in current implementation. Package, deploy, and configure SAS environments per recommend architecture. Define and document SAS usage best practices and standards. Provide hands-on training and guidance to Client SAS team for these tasks and activates. Identify the appropriate usage patterns and scenarios to be avoided. Define SAS job promotion model. Define and document Change Control procedures. Track and apply SAS hotfixes according to change management processes Experience/Skills ----------------- Detailed understanding of all SAS modules and ability to administer them. Knowledge of SAS architecture and operational workings. Ability to research and recommend technical designs and architectures to support requirements. Familiarity with SAS development/programming. Knowledge of tools and techniques to troubleshoot and debug SAS issues on Microsoft Windows platform. Strong Unix knowledge and shell scripting abiliites Familiarity with the HP/UX platform. Strong client focus and communication skills. Familiarity with full life-cycle development and support. Ability and willingness to operate both independently and as part of a team, with strong motivation, initiative, and process improvement focus.Top of Form 1
