This position will be in Sunnyvale, California and Minnesota. * * *POSITION * *Sr. Software Test/QA Lead* - The candidate filling this position will lead a data center applications migration effort from an application testing perspective for one of our premier clients in the legal industry. The Senior Test Consultant/Lead is responsible for the creation of the Software Test Strategy and the certification of the test environment. The Senior Test Consultant/Lead will interview technical and Subject Matter Experts; perform system analysis; diagram system work flows; and define critical business scenarios and the test procedures and test cases to evaluate these scenarios for the application being tested. This candidate will be in charge of the entire test and validation effort for this data center migration project for our client. * * *Experience and Education*** *Essential Experience and Capability *-- This position requires:** Ø 10+ years of *QA and test* experience, including *test leadership* Ø Experienced in developing *test strategy* and planning approaches for testing applications Ø Project management and *test lead* experience Ø Skilled at examination and analysis of typical business workflow scenarios Ø Ability to analyze complex applications and develop test cases Ø Ability to *execute* manual test scripts and *report* on test execution status. Ø Be able to read *use cases* and business requirements and write test cases Ø A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). Ø Very competent Windows application user skills. Ø Good written and verbal communication skills. Ø Experience at writing software defect reports. Ø The ability to communicate on a technical as well as a non-technical level. Ø The ability to understand applications from a technical and business perspective. Ø The candidate to be a proven team player with strong interpersonal skills possessing a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities. Ø Ability to make sound decisions based on business, technology, and QA guidelines. *Preferred Experience* *and Capability* – The preferred candidate will have one or all of the following in addition to all the experience and capability listed above: Ø Any previous experience working in a *Legal* Industry application and/or business environment.
