Description UNIX Security Services is looking for an individual with experience implementing and maintaining security on the UNIX platform. Activities associated with this position include a combination of but are not limited to: Basic Systems Administration duties Troubleshoot and document critical issues Escalate technical issues and in a timely manner Support Etrust Access Control and/or Tivoli Access Manager for Operating Systems, which includes product setup, administration, and troubleshooting Consult with internal customers on security design and operations for UNIX related infrastructure and application projects Write and support UNIX shell scripts Creation and maintenance of UNIX security policies and procedures Support processes related to UNIX Security, including user re-verification, monitoring and compliance, working with internal audit on issue resolution, and access control related troubleshooting ** ** ** Required skills: A good understanding of UNIX system administration. A good understanding of information security principles and the ability to verbalize security concepts to less technical individuals. Knowledge of Shell scripting. Strong oral and written communications skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of CA Etrust Access Control and/or Tivoli Access Manager for Operating Systems. Candidates experience should be equivalent to someone who normally has 5+ years experience working with a UNIX platform and at least 2 years of Security related experience.
