Description Pega Rules Developer (Java Platform) Location: Work remote or Minneapolis, MN Duration: 1 year + ** This role will support multiple key initiatives involving Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) and supporting modules such as Smart Adjust, Smart Investigate, and Research Manager. ** -Works on problems involving the evaluation of specification for complex business requirements and processes (new enhancements, maintenance). -Performs and leads modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Provides full project life cycle software development services for business critical systems application integration, including the preparation of detailed technical documentation. -Develops and prepares computer solutions; Designs and implements interfaces between commercial off the shelf products, corporate specific extensions (Apache/Tomcat) and enterprise Databases (Oracle 10g) in a Linux environment; Create Standard interfaces to provide access to the database for both external systems and users, including Web Services. -Verifies the program logic by preparing test data performing unit tests debugging and collaborating with testing team. -Supports the implementation of the application into production. -Builds/leads a delivery structure that operates within corporate guidelines for technology, security and change management. -Works with business line designees and lead systems development resources to improve processing efficiency through system and business process improvements. -Implements testing procedures fro both business and system personnel to ensure projects, enhancements, and support fixes meet deliverable goals. Participates in the overall systems testing. -Applies corporate standard Systems Development Methodology and project management concepts appropriately to ensure systems and business goals are met or exceeded. -Understands the business unit drivers and implements projects, enhancements and processes to support business goals. Ensures risk areas of the business and mitigated through systems and business processes. ** Completes web development utilizing java, J2EE, and WebSphere. ** Minimum Qualifications: -B.S. Degree in IT related field, or equivalent work experience. -Between 5-7 years experience primarily with intranet-based web applications utilizing OOAD, JAVA, J2EE, XML, Web Services, and Oracle 10g stored procedures at an enterprise level. -PegaSystems BPM Business Rules Engine Products specifically with PegaRESEARCH Manager, PegaSystems Smart Investigate, PegaSystems Smart Adjust, PegaRULES Version 5.2 a must 5.4 desired. -Java, J2EE, Design Patterns, OOA Object Oriented Analysis, JAVA Webservices (some exposure) ** Preferred Skills: -Oracle 10g or higher; PL/SQL Stored Procedures, -Apache Tomcat -Oracle PL SQL Stored Procedures, triggers, packages, and SQL Loader. -Background in Systems Development Methodology with experience in architecture and design of systems interfaces -Web Development -IBM MQ Series Thanks & Regards, Mohan Rao, Entellects Corporation, [EMAIL PROTECTED] 847-483-8844, Fax: 847-577-9995
