*Responsibilities:*

*The application is a combination of Web, Windows Executable, Web Module,
Windows Service, Bath Files, system interfaces, and other components. To
date, the database consists of approximately 100 tables, 190 stored
procedures with approximately 200-300 physical lines of code per stored
procedure, 18 functions with approximately 50 – 100 physical lines of code
each, 5 views with approximately 50-100 physical lines of code and 30
reports. *

*The Database Administrator consultant will be responsible for analyzing
business and functional requirements, planning, designing, configuring,
installing, testing, troubleshooting, integrating, performance monitoring,
maintaining; enhancing, security management, and support of the database
system. *

**

*The Database Administrator Consultant in addition to the above will be
responsible for: *

* *

*1. Identifying and documenting the design, functional or technical
documentation of the system; *

*2. Creating logical data model diagrams such as entity-relationship
diagrams and physical data model diagrams and *

*3. Implementing the data migration/conversion/transformation plan; *

*4. Recommending the architecture required for the system; *

*5. Developing and providing user support material as required; *

*6. Providing security protocols and documentation for the system, including
passwords based on the City's requirements; *

*7. Providing protocols or documentations used in configuring; installing
and testing of the system; *

*8. Developing, implement and provide protocols on capacity planning ,
recovering lost data; and backup and recovery plans; *

*9. Developing, create, implement and provide application performance plans;
*

*10. Creating and maintaining data dictionaries by documenting data elements
and their attributes; *

*11. Writing scripts for data base creation, manipulation, and
administration; *

*12. Writing coding standards and procedure*
