This is my direct client opening for *Senior SQL* *Senior Database Architect - Columbus, OH*. This is a *long term* contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.* Candidates need to interview in person and should be in the OH areaand need three references with phone number and contact details.* * **Requirements:* * * *Responsibilities:* * * § Responsible for all aspects of database architecture and design, query optimization, performance tuning, capacity planning, scalability, fault tolerance, data security, disaster recovery, and construction and implementation of a large scale and complex database. § Develops logical and physical data models, data dictionary, and entity relationship ER diagrams. § Works as part of the core architecture team as to design the entire system including the web tier, application tier, and database tier. § Responsible for creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, views, user defined functions, etc. § Responsible for planning, developing migration scripts and testing data conversion and migration from Oracle to SQL Server 2005. § Be able to work independently with minimum supervision. § Will be required to work collaboratively with the internal Data base and Network Infrastructure staff through out the life of the project. § Provides formal or informal white board training/mentoring sessions with internal technical support staff to facilitate a transfer of knowledge deliverable.
