Position: Systems Analyst Location: St Louis, MO Duration: 12 Months Rate: $40/hr *Naturally they would prefer someone local to St Louis, MO* Job Description: Responsible for the operating system & associated subsystems. Provide system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware & software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, & support of these systems. Collect information to analyze & evaluate existing or proposed systems. Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain & upgrade operating systems & hardware/software interfaces. Prepare detailed flow charts & diagrams outlining systems capabilities & processes. Troubleshoot & resolve hardware, software & connectivity problems, including user access & component configuration. Record & maintain hardware & software inventories, site and/or server licensing, user access & security. Install, configure, & upgrade desktop hardware & peripherals to include; network cards, printers, modems, mice & add-in boards. Write and maintain system documentation. Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
