Job Title: Oracle e-Business Consultant
Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 6 Months Start: IMMD Hours: some weekend hrs may be required This position primarily consists of a combination of custom development work and troubleshooting/resolution of production issues within the Oracle eBusiness suite and related third party applications and interfaces. Most of our custom development uses the Oracle eBusiness Suite development tools (reports, forms, and workflow) as well as custom PL/SQL procedures. In addition to support of the production application, this position will periodically be involved in work for projects, such as implementation of new Oracle modules or integration with other systems. Essential to this role is the candidates ability to communicate well with functional users as well as technical support staff (system admins and DBA's). Required Skills: Strong knowledge in at least 4 of the following Oracle eBusiness Suite applications: General Ledger, Project Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Order Management, iExpense, iSupplier, iProcurement, and Approvals Management Engine. Development skills in SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, Pro*C, Java, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports. At least three years experience with the Oracle eBusiness Suite. Preferred Skills: A combination of both financial and procurement applications is a definite advantage. Similarly is knowledge of Financial and Supply chain business processes. Familiarity with TIBCO or similar SOA integration tools is a distinct advantage. Experience using Mercury tools (ITG and Quality Center) is beneficial. Experience working in a SOX environment is also a plus.
