This resource is responsible for providing technical expertise in recommending development principles, developing programming and leading troubleshooting and performance enhancement efforts. The developer is a team player with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems. This individual must be a MOSS expert. Primary Responsibilities The MOSS/.Net Developer will provide coordination and guidance in the design, development and support of complex management solutions with responsibilities to include: ยท Designing and implementing component-based applications using the .Net Framework within established project schedules a.. Defining system requirements, flows and interfaces based on customer needs b.. Developing software requirements specifications; project and risk management plans; and project timelines c.. Defining interfaces required and methods of transmission d.. Developing technical specifications e.. Adhering to established methodologies while continuously analyzing processes for improved performance and adaptability f.. Developing test scripts and conducting unit testing g.. Assisting Project Manager with developer team coordination throughout the project's lifecycle h.. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with the customer's management and project teams Required Skills and Abilities a.. 2-3 years of software development experience with at least 1 year hands-on ASP and/or 1 year ASP.NET b.. Strong experience in using the MOSS architecture to develop websites. c.. Demonstrated ability in object-oriented programming and design principles d.. Demonstrated knowledge of database design principles and best practices using ORACLE version 8i or greater. e.. Development experience in stored procedures, triggers, functions and packages f.. Ability to work independently while cooperating and coordinating with the overall team g.. Ability to focus on priorities, and exhibit enthusiasm for creating high-quality software products h..
