Lead Peoplesoft Tester NYC RATE: $45/- C2C OR 1099 18 MONTHS Lead Peoplesoft Tester - Strong Lead Tester with solid Peoplesoft HRMS (HR, Benefits, Payroll) exp. They are implementing Rational Tools so they would like someone with strong skills in that area who could help implement. They have a mainframe Payroll system that interfaces with the main system so previous MF exp would be preferred Candidate must have considerable experience with: --HR Benefits and payroll administration processes --Development and testing methodologies --PeopleSoft 8.x configuration, new functionality, patches, fixes and upgrades --Peopletools --Upgrade and patch testing --ERP Technical Architecture --Blackbox testing --Creating testing deliverables including Test Strategies, Test Cases and Scripts --Performing data analysis using PeopleTools (SQR and SQL) --Testing legacy systems and 3rd party vendor interfaces --Rational Suite (Rational Functional Tester, Test Manager, Req Pro, Clear Case and Clear Quest) --PeopleSoft Implementations in a government or civil service environment . Possess a thorough understanding of development and testing methodologies . Experience with Peopletools, upgrade/patch testing, ERP Technical Architecture, and blackbox testing . 3+ years experience creating testing deliverables that include Test Strategies, Cases and Scripts . Strong analytical and problem solving skills (i.e. analysis, recreation and documenting the impact on the system overall) . 3+ years experience testing PeopleSoft 8.x configuration, new functionality, patches, fixes and upgrades . Thorough knowledge performing data analysis using PeopleTools (SQR and SQL) . Functional knowledge of HR Benefits and payroll administration processes . 3+ years experience testing legacy systems and 3rd party vendor interfaces . 3+yrs experience using Rational Suite (Rational Functional Tester, Test Manager, Req Pro, Clear Case and Clear Quest) . Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementations . Experience working with PeopleSoft Implementations in a government or civil service environment. . Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. . Experience working within a matrix environment.
