*Requisition Summary:*
Senior contractor position who can be *self-directed* and play a *lead
role*in the following activities:
- Primary responsibility will be expertise in the design, construction
and performance tuning of SAP BW-BPS business planning applications. This
will include evaluating application design options, identifying performance
tuning alternatives and being able to demonstrate improved response times.
- Meet with business users and other IS personnel to obtain business
requirements for Marketing/Finance planning application updates and changes.
- Work with business users and other IS personnel to design and obtain
agreement on solutions to planning application enhancements.
- Communicate solutions and organize work tasks for other contract
employees to enhance planning applications.
- Support and enhance SAP BW applications
- Work on projects across Marketing and Finance

*Summary of major duties:*
1.
80%
· Perform lead analyst role on the design, configuration and tuning
of SAP BW-BPS applications
2.
10%
· Support and enhance SAP BW applications
3.
10%
· Query development in SAP BW and Cognos
*Experience Requirements:*
· 5-7 years of BPS Software experience
· 5-7 years of SAP BW experience
· 5-10 years of Marketing and Finance applications
*Must haves:*
· *Analyst capability* – specifically:
o Meet with technical and business representatives to develop
requirements.
o Craft and design solutions to meet BPS application requirements.
o Negotiate trade-offs with IS and Business representatives.
o Communicate solutions and organize work tasks for other contract
employees.
o Develop and execute quality test and support plans.
· *Strong communication skills* with both Business and
technical representatives.
· *SAP experience* sufficient to build and support BW and BI
applications.
*Must submit:*
· Sample of their specification and requirements documents –
please make generic such that they are not breaking company confidential
information.
· *Note: Review of a candidate cannot be completed without
satisfactory support documentation to provide evidence of analyst
capability.*
