Description Cognos Architect - our EXCLUSIVE - Immediate start backfill situation ** Project: * Validate the migration environment * Help the client to prioritze items to be migrated * Help migrate a number of hotfiles, catlogues and reportsets from Impromtu and Power Play, version 7.3 to Cognos Version 8.0. ** Requirements: * MUST - Certified Cognos Administrator, Framework Manager, or BI Author * MUST - be at Architect level * MUST - Lead experience * MUST - Installed or configured a Cognos 8.0 environment more than once * MUST - Understand Hotfiles ** * Must know and understand the basics and fundamentals of Impromptu and PowerPlay Series 7 [version 7.3] * Client is NOT using a migration tool, so must be able to configure and build a Framework Manager Model from scratch. * Created Cognos reporting environment ** * Fluent in the new Dimensional Views offered in Cognos Version 8.0 * Moderate Data Modeling skills - to read a data model and be able to dive into the Cognos environment and see how they have the system set up Thanks & Regards, Mohan Rao, [EMAIL PROTECTED], 847-483-8844.
