Java Architect
- Act as high-level Subject Matter Expert on internal applications and
software for initial speculation conversations.
- 7-10 years experience in Information Technology including:
- Java-based web applications development.
- Application architecture (modeling and software design).
- RDBMS development and management using Oracle 10g and mySQL.
- Software release management and source control experience.
- Product management or significant project delivery experience.
- Demonstrated experience/knowledge in application development and
related technologies (object-oriented analysis/development, web
application
architecture, open systems infrastructure
architecture/management, release
management).
- Demonstrated experience/knowledge in the integration of application
and infrastructure architecture.
- Ability to manage multiple technical issues in a fast-paced and
rapidly changing environment.
- Proven written and oral communications and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and working with external
vendors.
*DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:*
- Open systems development experience.
- Software architecture experience.
- Software or technical product development experience.
- MSCS or MBA desired, but not required with a well-qualified candidate.
