Please let me know if you have any candidates that can be considered for the following contract assignment. *The candidates can be a strong Windows Server Admin with SMS experience.* *They do not have to have SCCM, but should be knowledgeable** about how SCCM differs from SMS. * *Job Title:* Windows System Admin *Location: * Houston, TX *Duration: * 6 months (likely to extend 12 to 18 months+) *Rate: * $50/hr *DETAILS:* Our client will be implementing *SCCM* through a third party. *SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), formerly Systems Management Server (SMS)*, is a systems management <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Systems_management>software product by Microsoft <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft> for managing large groups of Windows <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Windows>-based computer systems. They want to bring on a resource to be the on going maintenance and *admin for SCCM* once the deployment is complete. The resource can start ASAP. *Initially*, they will be learning the environment and working as *server admin.* *Once SCCM is active they will split time as needed between SCCM and Server Administration as needed. * They will be the main resource for SCCM administration. This will begin as a 6 month contract, traditionally this client keeps our resources on very long term contracts.
