Title: 6 Strong Financial Java/J2EE developers
Location: New York, NY
Length: 12 months
Description
We are looking for an experienced Java software developer to develop web
applications. You will be involved with the design/development of
customer-facing web applications from the ground up. Web applications include
search functionality, workspace management, alerting, analytics, company
information, etc.
Qualifications:
* 7+ years of core Java development experience
* 5+ years of web development experience in a Java environment
* Good Financial Industry experience required
* Experience with at least one *current* Java-based web UI framework like
Wicket, GWT, Tapestry, Echo3, Ext, etc.
Mandatory skills
* Java (1.5 or higher)
* AJAX
* HTML/CSS
* JavaScript
* Apache web server
* Tomcat
Desirable skills
* Working knowledge of dependency injection concepts
* Working knowledge of aspect oriented programming concepts
* IoC Framework Experience (Spring or equivalent)
* ORM Framework Experience (Hibernate or equivalent)
* Adobe Flex
* Software architecture skills
* Design Patterns
