This is my direct client opening for *Project Manager - New York, NY*. This is a *12 months contract position*. The Hourly rate is DOE. Candidates need to interview in person and should be in the NY area. *SCOPE OF SERVICES * *Senior Project Manager * -The senior project manager will be expected to oversee large and small scale software implementations, both prepackaged and custom developed in house or by an external vendor. -Collaborate closely with the business owners / stake holders to understand business needs processes and data sources. -Ensure that projects fit strategic goals by integrating with existing systems. -Ideally perform software development in languages including but not limited to .NET, J2EE, and ASP. -Strong analytical and problem solving skills, manage vendor relationships and expectations, responsible for keeping projects on time and within scope. *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * -8 Years Project Manager -4 years Project Manager with wide-ranging day to day operational support experience in the management of complex Information Technology IT implementations -7 years Capable of Daily management duties and all associated tasks related to .NET projects and system implementations -4 years Practiced in the supervision of technical staff, acting as a liaison with end users and effectively interacting with executive management for project management and milestones, project workflow and business logic, and business process re-engineering tasks -5 years Experience with Microsoft Project *Desirable Skill/Expertise* -4 years.
