Face To Face Required Build Engineer Bellevue, WA Contract 3 Months This position is for a senior member of the Build Team. Short term responsibilities include administering the source code control system; and performing code builds, packaging, and deployment to development, test, stage, and production environments. Longer term, this person will be expected to participate in the design of and accountable for implementing improvements to the building, packaging, and deployment practices. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborates with engineers and developers to build, package, and deploy all internal/external system components. * Perform and maintain the automated daily builds. * Assist with the diagnosing and debugging installation failures. * Administration of source code control repository, e.g. controlling access and creating branches. * Maintenance of the installation packages and automated deployment code. Qualifications: * Requires a BS in: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics or equivalent work experience. * Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: CMD script, VB Script, MSI, make, and ANT. * Knowledge of administering Windows NT/2000/2003. * General understanding of ASP, ASP.NET, C#, C++, VB, COM, HTML, XML, IIS. * Automating build and deployment processes. * Knowledge of source control systems, preferably Perforce * Familiar with software lifecycle methodology and software engineering techniques as they relate to the Builder role.
