Job Type: 9-12 Months Contract. Specific Job Description: We are currently looking for a Senior QA Lead for our client's project. The project leverages both distributed & mainframe technologies. The Sr. QAL will report up through the Team Lead and Project Lead and have overall responsibility for all testing phases of the project. We are seeking motivated people that know how to take charge & lead an effort. The ideal candidate should have strong Project Management & planning skills that compliment their testing and quality background. They must have good communication skills & work well with others. The ideal candidates will posses the following: * Minimum 7+ years QA Experience * 3+ Years experience leading testing teams of at least 3-5 resource * Have demonstrated knowledge & experience with software QA standards/methodology - Agile Methodology exp. preferred * Strategic thinker with the capabilities to take tactical information from multiple sources & develop and execute a strategic test approach * Have experience managing testing for large complex projects within moderate to large financial institutions * Experience with distributed environments preferred * MQ, WebMethods, Oracle * J2EE * Business Rules Engines & Business Events * Workflow Management * Experience with Mainframe Environments preferred * DDA, SVN & CIMS * Detailed knowledge of ReqPro & ClearQuest * Expertise in leading team through virtual environments - including offshore models Senior resource will join existing team to manage & coordinate all test related activities through an Agile project methodology & release implementation effort and be responsible for: * Providing overall testing coordination * Defines and establishes the overall quality approach for delivery of high quality business systems * Development of Effort Based estimates for all phases of testing * Creation & maintenance of comprehensive testing project plans * Resource planning * Defining & coordinating environment set-up * Coordination of testing efforts across multiple departments * Coordination of UAT & LST test events * Provide reporting and status of the test activities * Ability to drive out processes and tasks that are critical path for the testing effort * Coordinate activities for various resources like QA analysts, performance testers and resources inexperienced with formal test methodologies * Responsible for creating a Defect Management Strategy & ensuring the ongoing execution of the strategy by the testing team * Responsible for ensuring creation of all comprehensive testing deliverables * Identifying & leveraging potential for test automation Kindly let me know how many years of experience do you have with the following?
