Functional Title: Quality Assurance Analyst - Sr
Overall Experience: 07-09 Yrs.
Position Description: Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for
working with business and technical staff in planning, executing, and
documenting testing. Work with technical and business resources to
understand requirements for each project affecting any component of
application. Learn individual components of system to facilitate the
development and execution of comprehensive test plans. Follow and enhance
developed testing processes, procedures, or methodologies. Document test
cases to meet desired test coverage goals. Assist with test automation
effort. Work to minimize risk by identifying, communicating and escalating
issues appropriately to management.
Experience Level: 6-10 Years.
Skill Set: Software testing experience. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills. Work with minimal supervision, but know when to ask
the right questions. Development of testing strategy/plan/cases. Must be
analytical, detailed and team oriented. Individual should be results
oriented, organized and self-motivated. Proven experience in providing
superb client services and support.

** from a testing perspective it's critical that the tester is
capable of quickly understanding the enhancement and it's purpose. With
that understanding and as they become familiar with our systems, they should
be able to identify additional tests that should be included, report defects
as early in the process as possible, track those defects, proactively
recognize and escalate risks to the project as early in the life cycle as
possible (not wait until later in the testing), and be confident about their
knowledge to communicate with the project and test teams.
