Position Description: *Specific expertise in solving complex Web-based
application solutions. Analyzes designs, develops and supports all major Web
information systems designs from an enterprise perspective. Requires
significant expertise in applicable and various development technologies.
* Skills Required: *
* *
1) Bachelor Degree with 5 years experience OR Technical Certification or
College Courses with 6 yrs exp OR 7 yrs exp
2) Object Oriented Design and Programming
3) Understanding n-tier concepts
4) Working Experience with server side JAVA/J2EE programming including but
not limited to JDBC, Servlets, JMS, JNDI, JSTL
5) Java / J2EE design patterns
6) Understand and experience with software development lifecycle and
methodologies including code reviews and version control software such as
CVS
7) Understand distributed systems
8) Understand and experience with SQL
9) Experience with client (GUI development) and
server side programming
10) Experience with open source frameworks like
Spring, Struts, Hibernate
11) Understanding of Relational database concepts
12) Experience with IDE like Websphere Studio
Application Developer (WSAD) or Rational Application Developer (RAD)
13) Understanding of MVS design patterns
14) Write test cases and test plans
15) Maintain system availability and coordinate issue
resolution. Investigate preventative measures
16) Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate
Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and
departmental policies
17) Maintain complete confidentiality of company
business
18) Maintain communication with management regarding
development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special
projects as required or requested.

*PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS*:
1) Working experience with HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, XSLT 2) Database like DB2,
Oracle etc. 3) Experience with MQ, JUnit. Ant 4) Rule engine like JRules and
Unix environments 5) Web services 6) Tile, Velocity and an understanding
and/or developing UML modeling 7) Tools like Middlegen, XDoclet, WinSQL,
TOAD 8) Application development in IBM Mainframe 9) CICS, Cobol, JCL.
