Location:Wasington DC Duraton:Long term Rate: competitive Candidate must be a United States resident (must have resided in US for 3 consecutive years) Position Description & Day to Day Activity: (Describe the responsibilities, tasks and activities to be performed) Responsibilities: Oracle Financial Functional Analyst will independently analyze the requirements and lead for Account Payables functions, Oracle Fed Admin and General Ledger module. Analyze requirements with Centre for Medicaid and Medicare Services, configure Oracle AP, Fed Admin and GL modules, and design Oracle HIGLAS extensions and reports. Independently conduct Conference Room Pilot and be responsible for FIT gap analysis. Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents. Drive all meetings with the customer and manage the analysis through design phases related to Oracle Sub-ledgers. The analyst will manage several Functional resources under their module. Track and report activities/status in Project Plan using Microsoft Projects. This work effort also includes the following tasks * Provide Management Reporting for progress and status for all Business related Work Products / Deliverables * Gathering Requirements, Creating Design Specification Document * Working with technical counterpart to manage development of extensions and interfaces and processes * Provide Management Reporting for progress and status for all Business related Work Products / Deliverables * Work on any future identified AP, FV and GL tasks/gaps * Communicating with end users and PMO List top 5 skills required and be specific (PM, EVM, DBA, Oracle Technical, Oracle Functional, etc) * Functional AP, FV & GL Analyst * Functional Solution Design of AP, FV & GL * Module Configuration of AP, FV & GL * Federal Implementation of Oracle Financials * Procure to Pay Cycle including Federal Treasury payment process Functional * Federal Implementation of Oracle Financials * Year End and Quarter End Procedures and Processes Technical Skills: Be specific in the skills needed Required: * Excellent communications and leadership skills * Very Strong in Oracle Federal Financial Modules of Oracle Apps 11i (mainly in Oracle Fed Admin, Oracle GL, with knowledge of Public Sector AR and AP) * Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in complete life cycle of a complex Oracle Application project. * Must be able to work onsite. * Able to multitask and work across many teams.
