The following are essential job accountabilities: · Coordinates, performs analysis, designs, programs, tests, debugs, implements, and maintains .NET Web applications according to organization's needs. · Works with clients to research and define user requirements and understand their needs, address those needs, handle problems as they arise, and escalate issues as required. · Develops, maintains, and improves critical internal and external production .NET applications, based on need analysis using current development technologies. · Prepares detailed specifications and documentation for program modifications and development of new .NET applications. · Formulates system scope and objectives. · Formulates development schedules for assigned work. · Deploys applications that meet the needs of internal and external customers. · Ensures all programming, design, production control, data validation and quality control standards are met. · Manages data within relational databases. · Works at the highest technical level on all phases of .NET-based applications and projects. · The following are ancillary position responsibilities: o Provides production system support as needed or required. o Performs other duties as assigned · Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science; Engineering, Math or Business with an emphasis on Management Information Systems, or related technical field. · Minimum Experience: 4 years of Microsoft centric application development with at least 4 years of .NET/VB.NET/C# development. One year of use cases and UML required. · Experience coordinating software development resources or teams. · Strong SQL Server and stored procedure experience. · Key Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of the development life cycle including testing process and methods, variable programming fundamentals, conditional execution, data structures, compilation and debugging tools. · Knowledge of IIS, MS SQL Server, IBM Websphere MQ, Business Objects XI, Oracle and Business Objects data Integrator helpful. · Key Skills: VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, .NET Framework, XML, HTML, Javascript, Object Oriented Framework design, Web services and relation database technology. · Proven organizational, analytical, and creative problem solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
