* * WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
A. Database design and implementation services for large application
development projects.
B. Database administration for Oracle 10g and Oracle 9i.
C. Database design and implementation services to support full audit
trails for data changes.
D. Develops and documents database standards, guidelines and processes
as required.
E. Performs data modeling to support web-based application development.
F. Work with application developers and report writers to
design/implement/modify databases.
G. Troubleshoot problems regarding the database, applications, and
development tools.
H. Assist applications developers and systems staff in analysis and
problem resolutions pertaining to database.
I. Determine, implement, and enhance standards on database security.
J. Coordinate and support migration to new data management system
software levels.
K. Other activities, as required.
II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience managing Oracle databases versions 10 & 9 on Solaris

In-depth knowledge of Oracle internal views, shell & SQL scripting

Solid experience with RAC & Dataguard, RMAN, Oracle version 10 & 9

Experience with supporting databases in a J2EE application development
environment & providing production on-call support for scores of
applications

Experience working with multi-terabyte size databases

Experience with schema change management in multiple dev and test
environments
