MUST be local to: ME, NH, MA, RI, CT, NJ, NY* Position: Software Engineer Location: Danvers, MA Duration: 6 months *Job Description:* ** *Software Engineer (Contractor)* *Descriptions* Software Engineer will be responsible for software development activities (eg: requirements, design, implementation and unit / integration testing) for different life support devices. Applicant will be responsible for software feature development and reliability improvement activities. Applicant should have experience in software engineering process, good interpersonal skills for interfacing with development and marketing teams, and demonstrated aptitude for problem solving. All deliverables shall comply with FDA quality system regulations. *Skills Requirements* - BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering - Proficient in C++ & C programming - 5+ years experience in software engineering development - Strong problem solving skills - Prior experience in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) - Prior experience in User-Interface software development - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills - Ability to participate in code reviews. - Prior experience in *Tilcon UI* development is highly preferred - Prior experience in Human Factor design is highly preferred - Prior experience with multi-threaded applications is highly preferred - Prior experience with safety-critical or medical products is highly preferred - Prior experience in ECG related development a plus - Prior experience with medical device algorithms a plus - Prior experience in QNX or vxWorks a plus -- -- Thanks & Regards, Rudhra | Cigniti Inc.
