The Nortel CS1000 server can use Digital, Analog or VOIP. We need people with VOIP experience. Applicant needs to have CS1000 experience on a large enterprise system with multiple servers or CS1000E (E=Enterprise) experience. Experience with instillation from ground up, Moves Adds and Changes, Loads (Very important) (Name loads, what they do, when you use them), Overcoming Problems with Signaling Server, Elan and Tlan, some scripting. Also try: (Nortel AND 1000 OR 1000e OR 1000c) (VOIP AND 1000 OR 1000e OR 1000c) US Citizen This is for the Social Security Administration $300 million, 10 year VOIP upgrade, 1,600 SAS filed offices, 55,000 agents. US citizenship may be required for some positions. *Minimum Requirements:* Installing (from group up) then supporting and maintaining Nortel Communication Server 1000 Solution Knowledge of configuration and administration of relevant Nortel voice network management and configuration tools (e.g.,TCP/IP, routing and switching, physical transmission media) Troubleshooting, analysis skills and correcting problems in complex Nortel CS1000 environment. Extensive knowledge of configuration options and parameters, installation, and administration of Nortel CS1000. *Applicant must meet MOST of these requirements. Description: * Perform Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC) for systems under maintenance. Verification of the synchronization of inter-related systems (Telephony Manager, Common Network Directory Services..) Perform system backups. Provide system troubleshooting.
