Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests. Leads multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. May act as project/team lead. ***Min 6 years of experience in providing specialist level support in the design and implementation of IBM and HP systems based on AIX and HPUX. Responsibilities should include Design, Installations, Upgrades, Migration, Patching, Troubleshooting, Performance Tuning, Backups, Storage Management, Network Administration and Security Administration. ***Experience providing 7*24 production support to highly sensitive mission critical environments from AIX, HPUX, and Solaris Experience installing and configuring and supporting HACMP 4.X and 5.X clusters. Cluster configurations with 2 nodes and up to 5 node configurations depending upon project requirements. Experience in designing and implementing MCSG clusters both using HP9000 and Itanium based systems is a plus ***Experience in Planning and Implementing Disaster Recovery solution. Participated in DR Drills. ***Expertise in Performance Tuning. Tuned OS (Kernel, I/O, Memory, Processor). Network (Packet size, TCP/IP tuning, Network Routing, Duplexing). TSM Performance Tuning Also has strong experience with Database and Application tuning. ***Strong experience with OS Upgrades and Patch management. Upgraded AIX 4.33 to AIX 5L v5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 6.1. Upgraded HACMP v4.5 to 5.2 and HPUX 10.x to 11.x ***Experience with Strict Change Control/Change Management procedures and policies as laid down by the Organization. Followed ITIL Standards and used ARS for the same. ***Expereince with Writing Standard Operating Procedure Manuals, Technical manuals, User Guides and Training Manuals. ***Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
