The Lead SAP System Analyst for Order to Cash Process provides leadership in the process analysis, process and system design, systems development and configuration, and the implementation of business systems to support business goals, objectives and needs in the areas of accurate processing of quotes and orders from CRM through to ECC. In depth knowledge of customer master data, quote creation, order creation, use of listing functionality, and standard functionality that is required for the processing of quotes to orders through the invoice state. Additionally, an understanding of PCUI interfaces, sales tax, product configuration (VC), pricing and how they interact within the order entry process is essential. Develops and maintains the SAP configuration to enable the company's business processes in the key functional area of placing orders and any future additions we have to extend the functionality of SAP within the order to invoice cycle. Responsible for business process analysis/design, systems analysis/design, systems configuration, and programming in one or more technical environments. Knowledge and some experience with pricing in SAP CRM, R/3 SD and Middleware components required. *Responsibilities: 1. Solution Identification & Delivery *Translates business goals into appropriate technical solutions. Assesses feasibility for requested changes and enhancements and gathers, analyses, and documents business requirements. Participates in development of cost/benefit analysis. Designs and implements "best-value" solutions that meet business needs while adhering to IS technical standards and leveraging current investments and resources. Selects appropriate technologies to support business needs. Develops and maintains systems documentation, inclusive of but not limited to: business process models, entity-relationship diagrams, flow charts, data flow diagrams, system narratives, design specifications, test cases, training manuals, and user documentation. Follows formal project management, systems development life cycle, and change control management disciplines during the development and deployment of IS solutions. Provides configuration, data migration, and limited programming support as necessary to deliver solutions and support users. As required, provides training for systems implemented. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the supported business systems and a working knowledge of interdependencies with other enterprise and external systems. *2. Business Systems & Process Leadership *Cultivates and demonstrates industry-specific business process knowledge and familiarity with relevant enterprise, business unit, and functional strategies, objectives, and plans. Proactively identifies process improvement needs within area of support. Understands interrelationships between business areas. Collaborates with other IS resources regularly to identify solutions that span multiple business units or functions. Ensures consistency and portability of solutions. Provides research and evaluation efforts for area of responsibility. Facilitates a customer-centric environment that optimizes the use of IS products, systems, services, and procedures *3. Operational Support & Continuous Improvement *Provides production and problem resolution support for systems in assigned area including but not limited to: process service tickets associated with assigned area of responsibility; assist other resources during service ticket processing when applicable; communicate effectively with business users, management and other IS departments during ticket resolution process; utilize the various SAP resources available to determine solution; facilitate formal SAP involvement in resolution process; update applicable problem databases and/or knowledge bases with resolution information; Understands applicable IS SLAs and works to ensure that tasks are completed such as not to affect applicable metrics. Demonstrates TQM principles. Identifies opportunities and implements solutions to improve the unit's capability to deliver of information and services*. This position is required to have the following specific expertise and understanding: Support and Maintenance of Configuration and Documentation Quotation Management Sales Order Management Maintenance of underlying transaction configuration within the IMG Transaction Types Item Categories Status Profiles Date Profiles Listing inclusion/exclusion functionality Data exchange between SAP CRM, R/3 and MS Support Quote/Order Entry processes within the SAP Partner Portal transactions (PCUI transactions) Support and Maintenance of SAP Application Control Engine (ACE) configuration Support and Maintenance of SAP Territory Management configuration Support and Maintenance of SAP CRM Organizational Hierarchy configuration Knowledge of SAP IPC and Pricing related configuration Support and Enhance Order Import Custom Process Support Enhancements to integration for importing orders from any third party system that contains sales orders that needs to be processed through SAP Support and Maintenance of Certification Imports from View Central EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & other skills: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder, sorry no EAD/H1 Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent required in Computer Science or related field. Minimum 6-9 years experience in IT analyst or consulting position with knowledge and experience related to business function Minimum 5 Years experience hands on working with SAP CRM Sales and SAP SD R/3 solutions in business process analysis, systems analysis and design, and technical solutions delivery (configuration), Detailed knowledge of all the major business processes and associated functionality in the Order to Cash area; includes order management, ARUN, delivery, shipment processing and billing. Proven ability to develop complex SAP solutions. Excellent facilitation skills, including experience planning and participating in SAP blueprint and design sessions. Have been through at least 1 complete implementation cycle. Ability to interact with and develop solutions in partnership with third party resources, including those based off-shore Experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio in the creation of deliverables required Experince utilizing formal testing tools strongly desired (experience with Compuware tesing tools a plus) Experience utilizing SAP Solution Manager in a production environment a plus ITIL training a plus Previous experience in ABAP or Java development a plus Strong teambuilding skills, with ability to build quick and effective work rapport with others; Must be effective in a matrixed and geographically distributed environment Must be self-motivated in learning new concepts and willing to share knowledge and skills with other team members Must posses a strong work ethic and high standards of quality Must be willing to work evenings and/or weekends as required – this is primarily during the project; after implementation this not has much of a requirement Willingness to travel as required through the initial implementation. Travel may average about 25% with peak periods that may reach 50% for duration of initial implementation project; reduces to 10% to 25% after deployments are complete. Because of training and the distributive nature of Sage, travel of some kind will always be required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with sales managers and outside vendors to clearly articulate goals, specifications and requirements.
