If not, please DO NOT submit the candidates. Duties/Responsibilities: a.. As the MDM and Data Quality Engineer, you will oversee, and directly contribute to, the roles and responsibilities of the Information Strategy Technology Platform Data Services team. b.. The MDM and Data Quality Engineer directly contributes to, the roles and responsibilities of the design and strategy for Master Data Management, Uses Data Quality and other tools to design and implement the framework. c.. You will play an important role and will guide aspects of Data governance and Data Stewardship. d.. You will collaborate with a team of Subject Matter Experts, Vendors, Technical Project Managers, etc to effectively deliver projects & initiatives and you will require the capability to work in large cross-functional teams. e.. You will contribute to enterprise-wide strategic planning, technical governance for information exchange & harvesting, as well as assist in managing tactical responses. Basic/Minimum Qualifications: a.. Bachelor's degree required, preferably with emphasis in computer sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, HealthCare or Medical Informatics. b.. MDM Engineer must have strong experience in following domains - Master data management, data quality and data governance solutions. c.. Hands-on experience using and implementing MDM solutions preferably in Health Care domain will be preferred. d.. At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience on SAS Dataflux e.. Familiarity with the following concepts is a must f.. Dimensional Modeling g.. Data warehousing architecture, physical databases and performance tuning h.. Oracle i.. Metadata Tools like Rochade j.. Excellent problem resolution and analysis skills. k.. Must be able to present complex data/concepts in a clear, understandable, and meaningful way for reporting to upper management. l.. Strong written and verbal communications skills, including effective meeting management; prepare and present (PowerPoint/Visio); documentation templates for various procedures when needed. Good analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. m.. Able to work well as part of a team as well as be self-motivated. n.. Must be open to flexible work schedule to remain in-step with project and organizational needs. o.. This position may require travel up to 15%. Additional Information: Preferred Qualifications: a.. Healthcare industry technology/standards and emergent technologies preferred. b.. Familiarity with at least one major EMR/EHR vendor product, e.g. Epic c.. Familiarity with InterSystems Cache DBMS is a plus. d.. Clinical Data Model e.. Consulting experience is preferred. f.. Experience working in a matrix environment preferred. g..
