*Please Respond to **[email protected]* * * *Sr. Enterprise WEB Infrastructure Architect Duration: 6 Months (possible Contract to hire) Location: Portland, OR Start: ASAP* *DESCRIPTION: * Responsibilities of this position include the following: Provide expert knowledge and resources in support of *JAVA* middleware and infrastructure components including but not limited to *JBOSS*, *Apache*, * Web* *logic*, *Web* *Sphere*, *Oracle* *Application* *server* and *Microsoft * .*NET* Provide expert knowledge in security, *Single Sign On*, and *web access management for JAVA* applications and infrastructure. Perform architect functions for the *WEB *and *JAVA* infrastructure landscapes, including but not limited to: Facilitating discussions with project stakeholders to determine requirements for *WEB* projects. Propose cost effective solutions for business requirements. Creating detailed solution architecture design documentation Creating estimates for cost and duration for projects. Organize, plan, and execute large scale, complex projects from vision through implementation Work closely with *Development*, *Functional*, *Security*, *hardware* and * networking* teams to provide complex solutions for the entire *WEB* * landscape*. Coach and mentor less experienced administrators in the design and implementation of solutions. Support the design, construction, and implementation phases of a system and/or upgrade projects. *Qualification/Requirements:* Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of *5* years *JAVA infrastructure* experience including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and security for internet and intranet systems Expert knowledge of *JAVA, Weblogic*, and *.NET Web* hosting platforms. Working knowledge of *UNIX (Solaris)* and Windows operating environments. Expert knowledge of *scripting* in *UNIX* and *windows* environments. Sound understanding of secure *Single Sign On* principles and concepts. Knowledge of *CAMS* access management. Knowledge of networking concepts including *routing, DNS, load balancing*. Know-how and exposure to System backups, restore/recovery, Disaster Recovery. Project management skills including the ability to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets, and to determine specifications, schedules, and deliverables. Ability to understand the Companys I/T environment including applicable company policies, practices, procedures and general computing controls. *PREFERENCES: * Knowledge of SAP, NetWeaver (web application server JAVA engine).
