Title : Java Developer

The focus of this position is on development activities for the CEO Workstation
application including analysis, design and coding to requirements. Short-term
you will be expected to quickly get up to speed with the environment and become
familiar with the application. Long-term results for which you will be
responsible are to grow in knowledge of the platform and come to know the needs
of our customers.
This position is developing and implementing complex Internet functions on our
platform. We are looking for an experienced developer with passion for
technology and deep background with relevant skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Evaluate system specifications and requirements, lead design presentations,
influence direction and implement the most efficient and cost-effective
software/package solution. * Coordinate with partners outside the group. *
Perform web-enabled database development, tuning and module design. * Perform
web security analysis and participates in security planning.
Minimum Qualifications
4 year Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
8 years J2EE technical skills, enterprise software experience & web
application development.
4 years with front end web development technologies: JavaScript, CSS,
HTML.
4 years working with highly complex, high volume web based applications
with stringent SLAs on availability and performance.
System/application integration, including backend integration with databases,
mainframes, messaging infrastructure.
Working with and integrating web-tier infrastructure such as web servers.
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with wide
range of groups in dynamic work environment.
MIN QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years experience in the following:
Using and building WebServices.
Creation and maintenance of clear and effective documentation.
Required skills:
Java / J2EE
SQL
JavaScript
UNIX / Linix
Financial industry experience
Web 2.0/AJAX expertise
Experience with OO JavaScript principles, MVC JavaScript patterns and common
front end frameworks and development tools
Cascading Style Sheets
SQL for Oracle
Candidate must complete self assessment including years experience and skill
rating (1-10) for each skill listed
