Responsibilities: 1. Manage all database objects in a large 24*7 mission critical system. 2. Analyze business problems and design and implement databases that meet business requirements and support ongoing application development. 3. Monitor databases and perform tuning enhancements to optimize their performance. Develop and maintain utilities to automate problem determination, change implementation, and monitoring activities. 4. Participate as a team-member in data management strategies. Integrate data architecture with appropriate components of the extended enterprise, transaction factories, and the data warehouse.. 5. Participate in data-sourcing, import and data validation activities. 6. Provide database change and release management. 7. Coordinate all Oracle system changes with the System DBA team. Requirements / Qualifications: 1. 4+ years of experience as a Oracle DBA 2. Experience with Oracle 10g 3. Experience in Oracle performance tuning (SQL, database and system) 4. Experience in Oracle system management 5. Experience in Oracle Architecture 6. Familiar with large multi-terabyte instance management, including partition management 7. Familiar with data warehouse and OLTP designs and concepts 8. Experience with ER Studio 9. Experience with Clear Case preferred 10. Experience with Clear Quest preferred 11. Understanding of PLSQL 12. UNIX OS and scripting experience 13.
