Informix/Cobol Developer Location: Austin, TX Duration: 6 months Job Description: * Work with client team to analyze the identified Cobol programs and determine whether modifying the existing Cobol program or converting to a Stored Procedure will be the most efficient. * All modifications to the existing applications shall adhere to client standard utilizing client standard architecture. * Experience in developing applications / queries using an Informix database. * Experience developing and maintaining Cobol programs. * Experience in developing and maintaining Informix Store Procedures. * Experience in reading Development Use Cases and applying the required changes to the existing application. * Experience analyzing existing Cobol programs to determine, based on the business requirements, if the program would be more efficient re-written in a stored procedure.
