This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal computer performance. In addition to Application support, candidate is also required to implement new tools and communication devices, resolve printer issues and work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve market data problems. The candidate will be required to communicate effectively and collaboratively with various support areas to troubleshoot and secure the appropriate resources to resolve all technical problems quickly and completely. This is a trading floor environment which requires immediate resolution for all technical problems that may impact trading. Server support will be required as the candidate will provide initial diagnoses of server hardware and operation system problems and work closely with Corporate IT team to resolve the problem. Candidate will be required to maintain complete hardware and software inventory, documentation of processes, and produce project status and other governance reports. Investments is a high pressure environment which requires a significant degree of attention to details and the ability to multi-task at a fast pace. In addition to the ability to work as part of a team, candidate must able to handle stressful customer situations with poise. Excellent communication skills are required to help improve the level of customer service as well as support processes.
