WE ONLY NEED US CITIZEN AND WHITE FOR THIS PARTICULAR POSITION Job Title: System Engineer/ Analyst Duration: 6+ months Location: Portland OR This position will be considered at a Career or Senior level, depending on experience. *Responsibilities:* Ø Coordinate and manage all trading partner information. Ø Assist in testing for all new client connection setups; maintenance of configurable data routing table system and code promotion from test to production. Ø Develop support methods and resources to aid other staff in delivering efficient and effective solutions. Ø Document and analyze requirements for automated and manual integration between trading partners. Ø Coordinate project communication and turnover from ICC development to ICC Production Support Ø Manage customer relationships using IBM WebSphere Trading Manager ™ Ø Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for complex systems, applications, and operating problems, escalating problems to a technical staff as needed. Some contact with vendors for assistance with problem resolution. Ø Conduct tests to ensure prescribed solutions are correct. Ø Log and track issues, maintain history records and related problem documentation. Ø Monitor system performance and document system requirements for data. Ø Perform a variety of administrative task such as ad-hoc reporting for business users Ø Provide guidance to users when operating various software applications (ICC tools). Ø Escalate system functionality issues to application development teams Ø Analyze ICC project requirements for new and ongoing IT projects. Ø Provide project status tracking and various volume and statistical reporting updates to upper management. Ø Coordinate internal project communication and turnover to ICC Development and Operations teams Ø Participate in on-call support rotation as appropriate. Ø Participate in technical consultations, training, town hall meetings and various administrative functions. *Qualifications:* Ø Bachelor’s degree in technical related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Ø 5+ years of related professional IT experience. Ø Working knowledge of integrating business processes, message content requirements and technical transmission protocols, both generally and specifically for multiple international integration standards, such as: ANSI ASC X12, UN EDIFACT, UN CEFACT UBL, RosettaNet, OAGIS, ChemXML, W3C and IETF. Ø Skills utilizing IBM Websphere Trading Manager, SpecBuilder, TOAD,Putty, UltraEdit, SQL or UNIX are desirable Ø Working knowledge of IT software and applications development methodologies and processes. Ø Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn and understand multiple systems, both functionally and technically Ø Ability to manage customer expectations to project deliverables or Ø Service Level Objectives (SLO) Ø Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people. Ø Effective written and verbal communication skills including active Ø listening, facilitation and presentation Ø Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and analyze project requirements to ensure timely completion. Ø Ability to travel to off-site locations and be at an on-call status 24 hours a day.
