This includes coordination of all technical activities during the build and production migration and all necessary communications with the technical teams, stakeholders, and business clients. ** Responsibilities Include: 1. Develop deployment deliverables as per the deployment process. This typically includes the following: 2. Deployment work plan 3. Deployment approach documentation (high level and detailed) 4. Deployment impact analysis 5. Go/No Go documentation 6. Step by step migration activities 7. Any necessary communication deliverables 8. Coordinate with various groups within the DoITT IT and Business Operations teams such as: 9. 311 Call Center, 311 Agency Operations, 311 Telecom 10. Unix, Wintel, Network, IT Security 11. Facilitate approval of deployment approach with the various groups listed above 12. Lead up cross team coordination of all pre-deployment, deployment and post deployment activities across the various teams mentioned above 13. Continue to improve the Deployment process documentation with any lesson learned items. 14. Supervise 8-15 deployment resources when required (depending on the scope of the deployment) ** MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. 1. Working knowledge of SDLC 2. Previous deployment experience in a 24X7X365 environment. 3. Previous experience in coordinating work effort across multiple groups 4. Strong supervision experience for large teams (15-20 resources) 5. Knowledge of code migrations with Siebel or other complex packaged application. 6. MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint) ** DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 1. Strong analytical abilities and the ability to think outside the box 2. Detail oriented 3.
