Updating existing DDL code to comply with our Clients defined standards. Test and implement the DDL using a sub-set of production level data, if available, or test data. This ensures the design is functional and ready to receive production data. Ensure all DDL scripts are ready for review and deployment to the QA and Production systems. Assist our Client in the physical design that will be transferred into executable Data Definition Language (DDL) code. They will use Teradata and Industry Best Practices for the physical database design, modeling, and build. *SCOPE: * The investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, and the information they use. The definition of requirements for improving any aspect of the processes and systems. The creation of viable specifications in preparation for the construction of information systems. Work with business to define business/product requirements. Work independently or in a team to interview end users of systems, collect requirements, develop use cases, and work with application engineers to develop one or more business systems. Consults with business users to provide them with the knowledge needed to run their business. May include business or technical knowledge.
