6 months *Description: * Client is seeking a Mainframe Computer System Integration Specialist to create and maintain mainframe execution JCL (jobs) to support system replacement project in User acceptance (UAT) and Production environments. Create and maintain mainframe job schedules in CA-7 Create and maintain file transfers (mainframe FTP) in CA-7 jobs. Document the job’s schedules, functions and restart requirements. There will be a combined technical and behavioral screening as well as an executive interview The job has a 40 hour work week. However, due to the timeline inflexibility, there will (likely) be need for overtime of weekend work. Required skills are to implement cross platform work scheduling via CA-7 jobs using Stonebranch Universal Agent job templates. Desired skill to Implement automated control balancing (U/ACR Summary) for application continuity balancing. The contractors would provide immediate support for the clients system replacement project to build job, JCL and schedules in UAT environment and then production. This position supports a system which measures application availability and batch cycle performance.
