This is a contract located in Miami, FL and should last about six months*!

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accountable for the overall success of individual projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills
and will be responsible for on-time and to-specification delivery of Oracle
ERP projects.

Works with technical staff in project estimation and budget creation and
creates a realistic project deliverable schedule.

Works with business leaders to quantify the project benefits. Responsible
for communicating project status and proactively working with project team
members to correct negative trends to ensure delivery within budget and
schedule.

Candidate must adhere to standard project processes from initiation through
project closure.



The Project Manager is also expected to actively and effectively manage:

-   All processes within the entire project lifecycle (initiate, plan,
execute, monitor & control, close)

-   Oversee multiple concurrent projects or one larger project, depending on
the size and complexity of the project(s)

-   Determine the appropriate level of rigor in applying standard methods
and tools for managing a given project

-   Produce desired results by using appropriate techniques in all project
management activities

-   Serve as a corporate change agent, engaging project teams using a
non-confrontational, collaborative, consensus-driven approach.

-   Manage the delivery of enhancement releases and large scale projects
including; develop project plans, schedules and budgets; manage project
risks and issues; facilitate regular project status meetings; document and
communicate key project decisions; provide weekly status reports to
Management; effectively manage scope and change control;.

  Project resource allocation. Ensure that appropriate resources are
assigned to each project and that projects can be completed on time. Flag
and report bottlenecks and changing project priorities in order to maximize
project flow and overall efficiency. Ensure all resources are tracking their
time via PWA Project Server.

 Assist in establishing standards and procedures for project reporting and
documentation and process improvements. Effectively apply the SDLC
methodology and enforce project standards. Participate in project audits
when requested.

 Act as liaison between the Business Lead and cross functional teams.
Mitigate team conflict and communication problems. Handle internal
escalations and resolutions appropriately.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-     Requirements from the functional analyst teams are a key input
utilized for systems development and maintenance activities.

-     The PM is required to ensure requirements are provided in consistent
formats and that issues/requirement clarification and tracking is a part of
the original specification.

-     The PM is also required to ensure regular status updates from
developers, QA and functional analysts in order to accurately provide status
reports.

-     The PM must be prepared to liaise with the responsible developer
resources to ensure that all deliverables are met on time. If there is a
deadline that will be missed, the PM is responsible to alert the relevant
BSP Director of project issue(s) in order to provide enough time to resolve
the slippage before a deadline is missed and provide viable options to
resolve the issue.

-     The position should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Share Point
to be used to organize and control the documentation of the department.



-     Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint is required to
formulate the policies and procedures.

-     MS Visio knowledge to create and maintain organizational charts and
flow charts preferred.

-     Aptitude to learn new systems like SharePoint and JIRA.

-     Experience with large and complex development projects, development
methodologies, languages, hardware, software, Oracle ERP (OM, INV, PO, AR,
AP, GL, etc..), Oracle tools, process mapping and business process
re-engineering, business application projects, change control principles and
usage would be a big plus.

-     Experience in managing multiple medium (5-10 development team members
and 10-15 team members total) projects

-     Projects managed should have significant business process impact.

-     At least 5 years project management experience

-     Demonstrate full project lifecycle experience (e.g., proposals,
requirements, development, testing, deployment) for at least 3 projects of
6+ months duration and >$1M total cost.

-     Experience working with senior management in scope management,
reporting on project status, issue escalation, risk management.

-     Needs little/no direct guidance / supervision on a day-to-day basis

 Education : Bachelor's Degree
