*Only local Candidates are preferred - * ** *Interview F2F * ** *Requirement Details * Title : UNIX sys admin Location : Boston - Need local Duration : 10+ Months CTM dev/qa environments. - OS patching in dev/qa environments - Coordinating with the development, QA and RE teams for any application related issues. - Maintaining the backup of all the servers in Dev/Qa environment - Building new servers for the upcoming projects. - Resolving the regular day to day Team Track tickets - Maintaining 24/7 uptime on all the dev/qa servers - Installing any 3rd party software when required by the Application teams - Supporting the Database Admins in database related issues. - Upgrading the OS on servers to the latest version. Production - DR failover - HA testing - OS patching - Reviewing weekly backups *Skills System Administrator* The successful candidate will be a creative, professional, who can work both independently and in a team environment. Experience working with Database Administrators, Network Engineers and Software Developers is plus. A Financial Services or Software Development background is preferred. *Position requires 4-6 years, hands on, experience as a Unix Administrator or Technical Support representative for UNIX based applications. * The candidate should be familiar with all duties of a System Administrator and be comfortable managing multiple projects and day-to-day activities. · Strong Knowledge of UNIX (Solaris) and Linux operating systems.
