1. Position Title: *ETL Developer / Data Warehouse* Location: Rochester, NY Term ; C2H / fulltime Visa Status: *GC/Citizen/EAD/TN* Required: • Degree in computer-related field • 5+ years relevant experience • 1 year Data Warehouse experience • At least 2 years experience using one or more ETL tools. • At least 1 year experience using IBM Datastage tool. • Demonstrated leadership experience preferred. Job Responsibilities: • Validates requirements, performs analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and support for assigned projects to drive Enterprise Data Warehouse enhancements and changes. • Responds to questions, researches / resolves issues and/or coordinates resolution of issues to complete project work and provide technical support for Enterprise Data Warehouse, including high impact production issues. • As requested, for the development related work on the project team, defines tasks, gathers estimates, and assists in prioritizing work. Collects and tracks status against the schedule to monitor project progress for the development activities. As requested, acts as a focal point to communicate department project activities and status. • Defines and develops appropriate ‘tie-outs’ (controls to monitor quality of each data load) to validate each data load into the Enterprise Data Warehouse. • Ensures team compliance with standards and procedures (e.g. change management, version control, implementation) and/or consistency of coding. Recognizes code, process and/or standard inefficiencies and suggests new standards and opportunities for improvement. • Participates in investigation of opportunities for improvement for the Data Warehouse design or implementation, and makes recommendations to improve the environment (both technical and end user experience).
