The Applications Programmer should be expert coder in both visual interfaces
and web services construction. In addition, they should be expert in the
most effective and efficient product development using Visual Studio 2005,
MS SQL 2005 enterprise server and MS SQL 2005 enterprise server Reporting
Services.
This would include code development, unit testing, source code management,
build management, integration testing, and deployment. The candidate should
be expert in the most effective and efficient product development using
Visual Studio 2005, VB.net 2005, MS SQL server 2005 enterprise, XML,
XSL/XSLT, and HTML. This would include code development, unit testing,
source code management, build management, integration testing, and
deployment.
The primary tool in use is Visual Basic 2005 .net. Knowledge in the
following products: Visual SourceSafe, Deployment software, and Java Script.
In a lesser degree: C#, ASP and other Visual tools. Knowledge of Human
Services systems would be a big plus. The Technical Manager and FTE staff
will establish coding standards and development procedures to be followed by
the VB 2005 staff. Any issues that arise about the architecture should be
directed to the Technical Manager.

**Financial experience is a must and ACH application experience is very
highly desired!*
This group is a top priority to the bank! Billions of dollars will be going
through this system when it goes live... Phase 2 of this project is to sell
this service to other financial/retail companies which will generate huge
revenue for the Bank. This is a very exciting group to work in right now and
it is still in the very early stages.
Since this group is legally a separate entity from the Client , they are not
held to the 18 month temp tenure rule (yet) so the contracts can last as
long as they need to. They will want to convert consultants to FTE's where
they can so candidates that are able to accept FT positions are preferred.
However experience with ACH Transaction application is more important than
Visa status!
The existing application Client had was developed in Pac Base and they are
building on that framework for the new system. Eventually they will migrate
it into another technology but right now we need Pac base developers that
will require very little ramp up time and can get up to speed quickly.
