Our direct client is looking for Project Manager with Log Management
experience
Note: Telecom experience is highly preferred and local candidates will be
given higher priority.
Requirement # 1 Project Manager with Log Management experience
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: *6+ Months*
Experience: *8+ years***
*Description:*
Seeking a project manager to lead the Log Management implementation effort
and will need a strong understanding of IT/Information Security, as well as
experience/exposure to log management tools.
Requires strong fundamental project management skills (communication,
coordination, planning, oversight, issue and risk management). Knowledge
and/or exposure to the following technical environments/toolsets is
preferred:
- SenSage Security and Log Management**
- HP Compliance Log Management **
- Guardium data activity monitoring**
Required:**
· Requires experience with structured project management
methodologies (PMI, etc.).
· Demonstrated experience coordinating large product implementations
with impacts across multiple IT areas (IT Security, Information Security,
Infrastructure, Application Development) as well as managing multiple
vendors.
· Must be a self-starter with ability to take direction and work
independently while also working in a team environment.
Responsibilities:**
· Ability to manage large (10,0000+ hours) projects
· Manages all project communication and reporting Coordinates
efforts across IT Security, IT Infrastructure, and IT Application
Development
· Establishes and maintains project schedules and reports progress
against the schedules
· Manages all project issues and risks
· Facilitates project meetings and associated logisitics
(scheduling, agendas, minutes, action items)
· Coordinates efforts of multiple external vendors with the internal
Huntington project team
· Facilitates the review and approval of all project deliverables
· Leverages knowledge of technology to expedite decision making and
issue resolution
