Corp. to Corp. * ***Prefer local candidate*** ***MUST HAVE PERFECT COMMUNICATION SKILLS*** *POSITION PURPOSE: *End user support for a group of approximately 500+ engineers using various CAD applications. This position provides user assistance in all aspects of use of CAD applications including but not limited to creating models, plotting models, troubleshooting models, and releasing models. In addition, this position provides other end user support and administration as required. *OVERVIEW: * Help desk position, CATIA V5 user support. Candidates must have actual hands on CATIA V5 modeling experience with additional experience using a PDM system such as TeamCenter or SMARAGD.* Key focus: the candidate is strong in Solid Modeling and Surfacing. * *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *•Solving incoming CAD related problems to the Service Desk, i.e. 1st and 2nd level support •Providing individual assistance of engineers in the optimal use of CATIA V5/CAD software. •Helping users to utilize CATIA best practices and optimize their use of CATIA in the areas of design & manufacturing •Providing end user support and troubleshooting for supported NON-CAD applications such as file and data transfer applications •Providing end user administration such as creation and administration of user IDs and passwords •Monitor and answer help desk calls as required •Regular, predictable attendance •Other duties as assigned *QUALIFICATIONS: *•At least 3 years prior experience using CATIA V5 in a large CAD/EDM environment.
