*Hope you are doing Well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* *Please forward a profiles to **[email protected]*<[email protected]> *Here are the requirement detail* Contract; 3Months Overview Description To provide technical expertise within a team focused on the implementation of ongoing enhancements and service support of the RISE systems. The RISE (Reuters Integrated Support Environment) infrastructure is a platform for current and future RDFD management and support applications. It addresses the shortcomings of the existing RDFD Citrix infrastructure because it offers an integrated browser interface to users and allows the full integration of a customer information database, a GEDA and CORAX database, a file maintenance change database, and scalable application servers connected to all of the required distribution networks. To ensure full compliance to operational standards, procedures, and best practice in the delivery of world class market data. Responsibilities 1. Provide change management support as per the New World Change Process, meeting day-1, capacity, and data enhancement dates: • Confirm that changes are “fit for purpose” to be installed in the RISE environment and will not disrupt the main technical center. • Install and/or work with 1st line Operations in the installation of changes and take correction action with 3rd line support for problems. • To ensure that all aspects of operability are delivered while ensuring that existing service levels are maintained or improved. 2. Provide incident management support for both service impacting outages and non-service impacting issues using the corporate standard Incident Control Centre (ICC) process. • Investigate the health of the systems. • Monitor Service Center queue and update IM/PM tickets. • Drive down incident rates and work with 1st line Operations to improve service recovery times. 3. Perform analysis, planning, operational acceptance testing (OAT) as required for business as usual (BAU) and project related work. Provide input on how to improve process as related to RISE environment. 4. Create and update necessary documentation which would be Run Books and work instructions. Skills Required • Knowledge of the following Wintel environment including: Windows clustering, domain servers, web servers, SQL servers. • Knowledge of Enterprise networks (Cisco based); TCP/IP, UDP Multicast • Knowledge of SAN storage • Knowledge of 3rd party applications • Performance tuning of O/S, Network interfaces and network tunable parameters • Enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills (to include operating system, hardware, network connectivity) • Disciplined, with the knowledge of the ITIL process or other corporate standard • Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to liaison with people from a variety of internal and external groups/companies. • MS Visio & Excel use for documentation • Knowledge of the financial markets is a plus. • Flexible working hours Plus if have a financial background (equities, markets) Currently running on 2003 Windows Servers, but one project will be deploying 2008 Servers. Nice to have this experience but not necessary.
