Job   Description: Our client is currently in need of an *Lead Oracle
Developer to fulfill a 3 Month + contract opportunity in Atlanta, GA. *



The Oracle Development Lead will be responsible for leading development and
support teams in the Oracle E-Business Suite application design across
multiple work streams. The Development Lead will work closely with Delivery
Managers, Architects, Technical Leads, Database Administrators, Hardware
Engineers, External Integrators (consultants), and a mix of On-Off Shore
Developers throughout the various development stages to ensure they are
delivered in scope and on time.



The Development Lead will partner with the Oracle Technical Lead to define,
design, develop, and implement large & small scale projects within the
Client’s Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) of ERP applications. The incumbent
will also serve as the internal liaison to the on-site and off-shore
technical development and support resources. They will be responsible for
the overall development and implementation of various EBS applications and
Middleware solutions.



The main duties will include the day-to-day management of the development
teams, development activities and 3rd line support of the Oracle EBS systems
(11i & R12). This is a hands on role where the Development Lead is expected
to undertake an active developer role, sharing their time equally between
code development and management activities.



This opportunity will give you the chance to lead the development team
working on large scale Oracle financials projects. Candidates must have
great communication skills and a proven history of designing and developing
custom software packages within an Oracle ERP environment.



OBJECTIVE:

The Development Lead’s primary responsibilities will be to work with
Enterprise Architects & Technical Leads to coordinate the development of all


design requirements for the Client’s Oracle R12 Wave 2 initiative.



Lead Developers will also have the following responsibilities:

· Provide input and guidance for developmental best practices in context to
the bank.

·         Define a project’s usage of offshore and onshore resources.

·         Define development standards & practices around core and
customized developmental guidelines.

·         Definition, Coordination and Accountability of the development
team’s activities.

·         Management of Component-Unit Testing throughout the development
phases.

·         Management of Break-Fix issues.

·         Support the coordination of the Functional Integration Testing
(smoke test) and pre-production Client Acceptance Testing (QA) solutions.

·         Support the Change Management and Code Deployment processes.



REQUIREMENTS:

·         6+ years of experience in systems analysis, design and development
of complex Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 ERP implementations.

·         6+ years of experience in Design, Development, Enhancement and
Maintaining applications in Oracle RDBMS 8i/9i/10g using SQL, PL/SQL, J2EE
in UNIX environments.

·         3+ years of ETL and data integration experience in developing ETL
mappings and scripts using Informatica and/or Ab-Initio.

·         Experienced in requirement analysis, coding and testing various
modules in a software development life cycle.

·         Excellent team player and proven track record working in various
team sizes performing cross-functional roles.

·         Worked as Team lead and successfully completed a new
implementation of an Oracle EBS project.

·         Detailed in-depth Knowledge of Oracle Architecture, Framework,
Technical Stack, Data Dictionary and DBMS Packages.

·         Substantial development experience in creating stored procedures,
PL/SQL Packages, Triggers and Functions. Candidate must have Strong
knowledge of Oracle cursor management and exception handling.

·         Extensive experience in Database query tuning, Performance tuning
(Explain Plan and TKPROF utility) of PL/SQL Packages, Reports and
troubleshooting Oracle Application issues in OLAP, OLTP and DSS systems.

·         Expert knowledge in using data modeling tools like ER-WIN and ER
diagrams. Normalization Techniques for designing database with Relational
technology on N-Tier Architecture is a must.

·         Developed Client-Server applications using front-end tools like
Oracle Developer, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle WorkFlow, SQL*Loader,
Data Pump and SQL*Navigator.

·         Involved in designing numerous Oracle Forms and Reports by
interacting

directly with End Users and Business Analyst.
